You bet! Deputy is a FREE single user alternative to OpenAI's Operator Agent and is available for use in any country and with no cost of inference to run. It is free for single users and is designed for education purposes to learn about using AI.

How can this be FREE?

Deputy uses open source models that are hosted on your machine. This means there is no cost of inference. We have released this single user free version to help students, teachers and individuals can access and learn about using AI and AI Agents with Computers Use, so that they can keep up with the rapidly evolving world of AI.

We are on a mission to educate 100,000 Filipinos on how to apply AI at work. We would love you to help those in your countries as well by sharing deputy with teachers, students, colleagues and loved ones.

What AI Models does this use?

Deputy allows you to down load and use the open source AI language models Llama 3.2 1B Instruct Q8, Llama 3.2 3B Instruct Q8 and DeepSeek R1 Distill Qwen 7B.

All of the models are installed locally on your machine. We do not see or access your data in anyway.

Is this safe to use?

When you prompt the AI Agent to control your browser, it is up to you to what you want the AI Agent to do. We recommend not using Deputy for any mission critical tasks eg: banking.
